Review: Rorona 1/8 - Max Factory

Posted on November 01, 2016 by CC

Rorona was the first figure I bought that I had absolutely no idea who she was. She was also an impulse buy, getting her for ¥3030 from AmiAmi in Pre-owned ITEM:A / BOX:C condition. Her design was adorable though and I loved her expression and cute outfit.

She's from the Atelier series of games, first introduced as the protagonist of Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland. This figure is from the third game of the Arland series Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland where Rorona has been turned into an eight year old child.

They have kept her very true to her in game designs, matching the coloring on her hat accessory, the translucent gems hanging off of her hat, even the wrapping on the upper part of her staff is there. She is a small character so about 6 inches tall, but the added base and her dynamic pose give her final height of 9 inches.

Buying Rorona

She is an older figure, released on November 14, 2012. She is pretty easy to find though.
